I am determined to help to remove the stigma of mental illness. When people hear the words "mentally ill" or "bipolar" they picture straitjackets, padded cells, images from "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest". Most likely, everyone knows someone with a MI, but even don't know it because the sufferer feels the need to hide their illness or be judged wrongly. We are people with illnesses. That's all. Help me end the stigma.
